This site is dedicated to my family and all the precious critters here at Birdie Road, which is what we call our little piece of the world! My Husband , Larry, my son, Jason, and I, Heidy, live here, in Norcross, Ga. just North of Atlanta, with 13 beautiful, small, adopted Parrots and 6 silly pups! My job is to take care them all! I also have two lovely step daughters, Amanda and Tori! Some days are hectic, some laid back, some are wonderful and some could certainly be better! But never is there a day without the smiles that animals bring to your life! We are blessed!!

 This is our world....Birdie Road If you have a problem with feathers and fur then don't even bother to knock. Because stepping inside a home such as ours might come as somewhat of a shock! There's fur on the floor, and on the brown chair no matter how often I clean. Don't sit on the couch if you're wearing black, the reason immediately seen! Bird seed in the corner is fresh from today, it came from between all my toes. I actually like leaving a trail for myself so I always know where to go. My new hardwood floor seems older somehow from dogs running about, and their play. I'll shine it tomorrow, or maybe next week, I'll let them chase balls for today. Although it may seem like a pillow exploded the feathers don't bother the floor. Our birds will grow new ones, and prettier, too! Till then I'll just vacuum some more. When Hubby comes home from a hard day at work I'm last in the line for a kiss. He's greeted by chirpping, and wagging of tails, it's something we both wouldn't miss! So, if you have a problem with feathers and fur, please try not to fuss or to moan. Our babies have four legs and beautiful wings...
